Lauryn
Lauryn’s yoga practice began in 2015 when she took her first yoga sculpt class and quickly fell in love with the energy and challenge of the practice. She became certified to teach yoga sculpt in May 2016, and then completed a 200-hr certified yoga teacher training in September 2019. Lauryn is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with the goal of serving clients who have experienced complex trauma, anxiety, and depression. Lauryn loves the somatic healing yoga provides and hopes to use yoga to help people reconnect their mind and body in therapy and in the studio.
She has found teaching yoga to to be an amazing source of connection and self-discovery. She hopes to carry these themes into class for her students by leading thoughtful, intentional sequences to keep her students feeling safe and strong. You can expect variety, encouragement, fresh playlists, and a focus on mindfulness in her classes. When she’s not on her mat, she enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan, her corgi pup Hazel, and her cat Oatmeal.
